hey whats the mobo/ram combo you are using with your xp1700? i bought the xp1700 awhile ago and since you are getting great results with your setup i would like to get the same. thanks pal. btw great job on your new cd.

The motherboard I am using with my setup is an ABIT NF7-S You can get the non -S version or the -S version. The difference with them are that one has onboard firewire, sata, and audio (the audio quality surpasses an audigy).

The ram I am using is Corsair XMS 3200 512MB. Very nice, Im currently at 235FSB with the ram timings at 11-3-3-2.5 .

well. . . i still havent upgraded, but i "think" i am doing it soon. . .

i will be buying the above mentioned mobo. for the RAM, is there any advantage to getting the matched pair of 256 over this, a single 512 of the same type?
