Default Dark Theme - a no go!!

I'm testing a actual trial version from Protools!
Oh my god, after starting the program, this cheapy darkmode design like the new avid media composer or adobe audition, i can use this longer then 5 minutes to become see mistakes!!!
Is there a posibility to switch this very bad fontend to the normal "old" look, i found nothing???
If not, this will be the badest protools look ever and a hit in the face to all protools user that use this software in the last dekades!!!
Please change this or add a posibilty to switch the desgin, please!!
I can buy and work with something like that.

Dark mode is a work in progress. If you have any further constructive thoughts, please feel free to express them.

Whereas I agree with the opinion that "dark mode" looks a LOT like Adobe Audition, it doesn't stop you from working. And as you discovered, you can always revert to Classic Mode.

Yes this Audition like "darkmode" is useless, this has no usability!
If Classic Mode always available in the future, will be fine and decisive for purchase.
If i have a wish, try to include the old Protools 6 - 8 Silver Design too for switching, this was optical the best Protools! :)

If you're focusing on the software look features and not the music making features, you're playing baseball on a football field.

Oh please - that was a horrendous gui.

Check out this longgg thread and you'll see some screen grabs of the modified dark mode changes I and others have done: http://duc.avid.com/showthread.php?t...k+mode&page=49

Note that this is for a Mac. If you want drop me an email from a regular email address and I'll send you the dark mode file I'm using along with instructions on how to use it on your system.

Yes Tom. But I don't have any further constructive thoughts, so I'll just remain quiet. . Dark mode seems to work well for some folks, though.

Don't wanne sound like an ass, but most people screaming about the dark modus should first calibrate their screen properly... I work in dark modus from the beginning and at first everything seemed black against black. After properly calibrating my 3 monitors with SpyderX (Datacolor) it became obvious, all my screens needed more brightness. Now calibrated its really working great, and switching back to classic seems odd now.
