Default Any word on macOS 10.13.5?

Any word on macOS 10.13.5?

Has it fixed the performance issues Pro Tools 2018.4 was having with 10.13.4 or are we still stuck at 10.13.3?

This always gets asked, but upgrade at your own peril. I don’t understand the interest in installing the updates as they come out. 10.13.3 works fine. Avid is always slow to test and certify comparability with operating system updates.

No urge to go past 10.13.3 here. It’s just that Avid claimed they were working with Apple to resolve the known issues with 10.13.4. If that were the case, one would assume 10.13.5 might incorporate those fixes.

I'd be very curious to hear what those are, since Apple doesn't make big changes to Core Audio for minor point releases. Maybe it's an edge case issue related to the file system.

Well, sometimes one just don't get to choose... New Mac, as an example.

yea and can you describe any issues you were having on the prior OS?

you would have had to been experiencing an issue to notice if it has gone away with an update to 10.13.5

simply saying it ran good on OS version A and version B doesn't provide much insight if any bugs were fixed or overall performance improved
