This totally blows. I have all kinds of respect for a phased roll-out.

I received notice of my free upgrade, but Avid sent it to the wrong email address.

The upgrade notice will be sent to the same email address you entered when you originally registered Pro Tools, regardless of whether you have changed your account information.

If you no longer have that email address, even if you updated your account, you're out of luck. Which really needs to be fixed!

I can't find anything from your forum email address, but I think you have 2 registration records for an email at xs...

From what I can see, your registration does not indicate a student version:

Product: Pro Tools LE to Pro Tools 9.0 Crossgrade
Purchased: Dec 23, 2010
Product: Pro Tools 10.0 for Institutions
Purchased: Feb 04, 2012

I would recommend filing a support case with customer service to sort it out:

If you are able to provide a receipt, that will help considerably.
