Default Music Production Toolkit Question

Do the authorizations come preinstalled on an Ilok like the Factory bundles, or will I need to purchase an Ilok serarately?

I didn't get an iLok with mine. I already had one.

You'll get a couple of cards with the MPT, one of them has your activation code. When you activate it on the website it will ask you for your iLok account info, which you'll have to sign up for beforehand, and send the licenses to it for you to download to your iLok.

Then just plug it in and go.

Thanks
I bought my 002R Factory 2nd hand and the Ilok is registered to the previous owner's Ilok.com account.
Ilok.com want $133 Aussie dollars to transfer the serial number to my account, which is robbery when you consider I can buy a new Ilok for $70 (Aussie).
Was just wondering if I will get a new one with my MPT before I go buy another.
PITA!

yea .. seems like getting another iLok would be a good thing.
what's the cost of a zero-downtime in AUS? you get a second iLok
plus the ability to cut temp licenses should one of your iLoks break.
that would be another option.

or buy McDSP plugs .. they come with a lovely green iLok ;-)

According to Ilok.com zore-downtime is US$30 per year (About AU$40) but it's up to the user to have a spare Ilok on hand.
