I found a fix for Artist freeze

Dear all Artist users

I just bought a new HDX system with a mac mini with OS X 10.9.2 installed. Sadly my MC Mix and MC Transport was freezing all the time, but could be unfrozen with a click on cmd (or any key actually)
This was with EuControl 3.1.2 and static IP's

I heard about a fix where you disable the new AppNap feature in Mavericks , but the option wasn't available with EuControl 3.1.2 ( at least not on my system)
So I uninstalled 3.1.2 and installed version 3.1 and now i could select the EuControl icon and type CMD+I (right click > get info) and disable AppNap.
I did the same for my Pro Tools app and the MC_Client app.

And now it all seems to work perfectly :)

Weird.. What is your setup? And have you tried with static IP's?

Have you downgraded to version 3.1? I couldn't find the app nap option in eucontrol 3.1.2 - (the App Nap feature is only in os x 10.9 (Mavericks))

Yes, , I uninstalled 3.1.2 as you did, then installed 3.1 .
Sill no app nap .

If you go to: Applications > Euphonix > Eucon > EuControl and right clicking on that icon and chose get info. And under general: Prevent App Nap

I appear to have re installed 3.1.2 . .

Just put 3.1 in & app nap is back.
