Default New Pro Tools User Help Request

Hello Avid Community,

I am a new Pro Tools Artist user and I just started my new subscription yesterday. I am looking for help in setting up my Presonus Studio Live Series III mixer (32 channel version) as my interface so I can begin recording. I am using a Mac Book Pro with Ventura as my operating system.

I am familiar with MIDI setup in Mac and how to get to Hardware and Peripheral setup areas within Pro Tools but just can’t seem to get it to work. When I go into the setup, it shows my mixer but it is grayed out and I can’t select it.

Also tried to select one of the 32 channels in the mixer as an input to track 1 on a test song, but the only option I was given for input source was the MacBook microphone.
