loss of audio files

Some of the audio is gone from a song. not the whole lot, but say 70 % of the bass, some of the electric, some of the fades. enoughs gone for me to have to retrack the whole song again anyway.

I have no idea why this has happened. I reinstalled os10.6.8 after erasing everything from the HD. reinstalled pt8. I saved this session on multiple drives and on each drive the same audio is missing.

Anyone have any idea?
love tryna be creative and spend months tryna fix computers.
