Default Edit Time code meta data

Hi all,

From a video editor I regularly get projects to mix, which he records with a Sony FX6 and with Tentacle Track E's for dialogue. The FX6 gets timecode from a Tentacle Sync E.
Strange thing is that the Sony and Tentacle Track E units are not in sync in the Avid MC edit. The offset is 1 frame. Sony at the IBC has already answered that this is an FX6 problem, on which they're working (or not ;-)).

Is there a program on which we can edit the Broadcast Wave timecode, preferably in batch? Avid MC is pretty limited in this and we want to get it done before it goes into the Avid MC media database.
Google search gives me Wave Agent, but this program doesn't do 32bit audio, which we want to use for some projects.

Thanks in advance for your help/thoughts!

Ronnie

I'd put my money on the tentacle being off. You should be able to adjust in tentacle studio.

Sony admitted that the FX6 has a problem with external timecode.
We’ll look into Tentacle Studio, thanks!

Could Soundminer be a program to batch edit meta data?
