PT Bounce to ADM vs Dolby Renderer ADM
Maybe someone knows the answers to the following. Couldn't quite tell from reading every doc I could find.
1. Are PT and DAR Home Theater version using the same engine underneath? 2 .What are the built in Pro Tools ADM bounce re-render defaults for:
3. In the "Apply Program Level Metadata" menu, does that option simply refer to just the piece of metadata describing how the decode should happen down the line, and doesn't affect any audio processing in the resulting ADM? |

Re: PT Bounce to ADM vs Dolby Renderer ADM
It says most of this in the reference guide ProTools is taking most of its info from the connected renderer by default. There is no ProTools default for question 2- you can choose the renderer default, the connected renderer settings or the settings from the most recent ADM imported into the session.
Program level Metadata is the trim, downmix, binaural modes etc. |
