PT 2023.9.0 stalls opening project on MacOS 13.6.2 (22G320)

It is inevitable that I would find myself in this situation, caught as I am between aggressive OS security updates and the flow of PT updates. Not complaining about either here. Just keeping the responsibility where it belongs; with me.

I updated MacOS Ventura to 13.6.2 (22G320). Today PT hangs when I select a project. A local session opens as expected.

After selecting the project and clicking "open", the dialog "Checking project status..." appears. Like a mortgage, it never leaves. I can click Cancel and return to the project selector.

I see this in the system log:

"eWrongSender" has a nice ring to it, like it is easily fixed. Still, it is a new one for me.

Suggestions and ideas warmly accepted.

P.S. The machine is a 2021 MacBook Pro M1 Max.

and trashing prefs

I am having the same issue. Nothing loads same checking project status

What are your audio interfaces?
Reinstall drivers for whatever audio interface you are using.

We are aware of that issue and our Teams are working on the fix.
I am getting reports from our customers all the time and it looks like in many cases signing off, rebooting the computer and signing in again helps - but not always, unfortunately. We have gathered a lot of data from other customers already but there is a possibility that I will ask you to collect some in the near future. I will inform you if I need anything.

Uh Pro Tools cloud projects. Flakiness comes with that, as has been warned about many times on DUC, there is absolutely no way I would be trusting work to cloud projects.

I checked the case and there isn't a bug associated so I asked Michal for the bug # so I can also track this. :) CPIB-548 is bug #
