Default Dragging multiple regions issue

Hi,

I seem to have lost the option of dragging multiple regions at the same across the timeline. When I select various regions and then click on the one of the selected regions to drag them all, it only drags the one region that I clicked on.

Anybody had this issue before? Is there any option on the settings where I can change this?

I'm running PT LE 7.4 on a MacBook Pro

Cheers!

Angel

Yes, we've had reports of this and it's fixed in Pro Tools 8. I don't know the status of a possible cs release for this in previous versions of Pro Tools, but I'll check and get back shortly.

Great, thanks for the quick reply!

Just so you know, I've tried starting an new session and the multiple dragging seems to work fine. The problem occurs only in a session where I'm editing sounds that I previously recorded. Not sure if there is a relationship but there you go.

As a workaround, you could try selecting the regions and the creating a region group from them (alt+cmd+g). Then you move the region group. When you are happy, ungroup them (alt+cmd+u)

If you need a workaround that is

Thumbs up Re: Dragging multiple regions issue

Good idea, thanks! A bit long for the amount of edits I need to do though...
I found that using the shift key to do the selection and moving the regions straight away with the last mouse click still down also works...
