Pops & Clicks mac mini, firewire 1814
I went through the trouble shooting guides, but I cannot get rid of the pops & clicks!

Sorry, I'm not at my office right now to get exact specs. It is a Western Digital mybook that only takes Fire Wire 400.
I found the article that says to hook the drive up before the 1814 in the chain (I did have it the opposite. i changed it and thought, aha! but still pops & clicks) The chain goes Mac Mini firewire 800 port=> adapter cable => my book => firewire 1814.

One more thing the pops go across every track. In the wave form window when I zoom in, it looks like a flat line that interrupts a waveform.
