Default Expresscard for MBP

Which FW 400 expresscard can you suggest to work with a MBP and a M-Audio 2626?

And please no Sigg! It´s not possible to get it in Germany.

What about Sonnet?

I have an Apiotek 2-FW400/USB 2.0 Expresscard with the Texas Instruments chipset, that works great so far.

No, can´t get an Apiotek in Germany.

Is it only important that the card has a TI chip in it or what else?

Can you not get the ADS in Germany either? Maybe it would be best to list what you *can* get that has a TI chipset and we'll see if anyone has experience with any of them.

Having the TI chipset should be enough, but it's not necessarily the only factor. Some cards are built better than others, so direct experience is the best way to gauge whether it will work or not.

If worse comes to worse, you could always have a friend in the U.S. buy you one here and then ship it to you.

To buy Sonnet in Germany is no problem but I can´t see on their website if it has a TI chipset or not.

Anybody knows?
