Default attack function/modifier keeps changing on inputs to instrument tracks

Hi, I am having an issue where Ill assign an input to my instrument track, such as xpand2 or vacuum, and after playing around on the keyboard the attack function keeps changing by itself (from the default of zero to +xx), causing all of my inputs to be drawn out and waver. I can readjust the attack on existing recordings, but if I try to record something else the inputs will have a modified attack.

Any suggestions as to what the problem might be and how to solve it?
