Check out http://www.airusersblog.com/ under the video section, there are some great videos about Boom.
I set up Boom on its own stereo instrument track. I use the pencil to draw the note, usually in the midi editor window as opposed to the edit window, that represent the pattern I want to use. I draw the note to go for the full length of how long I want that pattern to play. This seems to work for me both in switching between patterns and getting boom to stop playing when the note ends. I've really had no problems with this method. |

Well, everything's working now. The midi notes in my inst track are active and as soon as I clicked on one of the notes it went from fat to thin again.
Strange. |
