Default Mackie control fader

Wondering if any one had to have any of their Mackie control faders replaced because of sticking. one of mine began stick on startup(fader 5). Tell me to contact mackie tech support. I tried the compressed air which worked for a few weeks. It's still under warranty and they told me to ship it in to be repair. I wanted to know how long did it take to have this done. I guess shipping is on Mackie, forgot to ask, but will on the callback. But peep what i did to avoid downtime: Popped it open and just switched the sticking fader with the master fader (very simple). It's working real good cause PT doesn't use the master. Still might just order an extra one cause they look like the metal bar that the fader slides on could bend easily.
