Default Digital noise on playback with Pro Tools LE

Hello,
My system is based on a PC, Windows 98 SE, Digi 001, Pro Tools LE, 1 IDE hard drive(C) for system and 2 SCSI drives (D an E) for the audio.
I first record a session on the disk D. To make place on this one, i copy my session folder on the disk E. But, when i want to open my session on this disk, Pro Tools bugs and an error message appears ("Run time error").
The only solution to open my session is to transfer it on the original hard drive D.
But, by moments, digital noise like hash noise appears on playback. And now, on a session, the noise is constant on playback.
Can you help me if you have already seen that problem ?
Thanks.
