001 and multiport MIDI
Hi, I'm trying to setup an opcode 128x 8 port midi interface to work with a 001 in a mac. It should work since it's OMS compatible.
My questions are : 1-Should I connect the interface to the 001 serial port or to the mac serial port ?? 2-Should I install the OMS version that came with 001 or the one that came with the interface ? 3-In ProTools where do I search and setup the interface ? Is there any user who can give me a step by step instruction on how to do this ? Thanks a lot. |

Re: 001 and multiport MIDI
1-The Mac Serial port. The Serial port on the Digi001 is not implemented.
2-The version which ships with the Digi001 (OMS v2.3.8) 3-You launch OMS from within Pro Tools by choosing "OMS Studio Setup" under the Setups menu. Brent |
