Any mode where you use DMGs page table. So when you focus the plug in through inserts.

I have noticed as well that there are 1 or 2 of the parametric bands and one of the HPF bands missing from the layout on the S6. I presume this is to give a neat layout on the knob module of HPF, LPF, IO and then 5 bands of parametric with the 2 shelf filters. It's a fantastic and intuitive layout, but it would be great to have access to the other bands, perhaps on the next page of the knob set.

Only other thing I would really like to see is a way to switch the analyser on/off from the knob module in expand mode. But hey, it's pretty damn good as it is at the moment!
Hi Steve!
Look I install the 27 and has the same issue as 26. Nothing changes. I tell it to Dave withou answert, probably he reads my email but has the "bad" policy of not answert it... Sad. Is there some pref files I need to delete? I 99% of the time I use it on expand mode on the knobs module. For my way of mixing the mtm is quite slow since we all ways have to call the function to be able to use it. Regarding this last topic I ask Eddie if we could have a pref more or less like "attention touched knob", so if we called a Eq on the channel strip it automaticaly call it on the mtm, and so on.

There might be 2 builds named 27. Not sure. Dave has sent me a few with that number. The last 2 where s6 page tables. They are not correct but should be heads and shoulders better then 26. Confirm you have the correct build with him. Yes it's very frustrating.

When I get a minute I will try to take a photo of the expand mode on my s6, maybe you guys can do the same and we will see if it's the same?

Difficult to take pictures off a reflecting black surface...
But we have the same issue here. Version 1.27, code date 5th June

This is how Eq bands show in Exp mode:
page (slot): a b c
eq-bands
bottom row: 1 2 4
top row: 6 3 5
which is very far from intuitive. It would be much better to add an extra page.
For DIY addicts:
This layout corresponds to types 'BkSF' and 'PcTL' in the pagetable, and shouldn't be difficult to change.
But keep in mind Postman's adventures with the Cedar plugin layout.

Cheers
Florian

I was able to make simple changes to the .xml file after launching Pro Tools, as long as Pro Tools remained running. That could be a workaround if you want to bother with it. Pro Tools may not care until it is re-launched.

Hmmm, that's odd. The layout in expand mode on mine is completely different to your picture.

Mine is laid out logically from left to right like a proper parametric eq. in order of channel strips it goes from left to right like this:

1. HPF 2. LPF 3. IO 4. Low Shelf 5. Low Mid 6. Mid 7. Hi Mid 8. Hi Shelf.

Does anybody else have this layout? (It's great by the way, very intuitive)

What color are your knobs?

On systems with two knob modules, layout will change to use both modules. Still not laid out in a very useful way, as I had described earlier.

I'm beginning to suspect a conflict between the info of the pagetable xml and individual S6 configurations.
Also, at least on our system, it seems that oddly Equality will not open on pressing 'Eq', but on 'Ins'. Hence the colour of the knobs..

Cheers
Florian
