Help! buffer size
OK, long time mix user. very stable. Legacy system but runs fine. Really wanted to start using some of the new plugs and can't on legacy systems. bought an 002r for this reason. Using a dual 1GHz G4 with 1.5 GB SDRAM. Pro tools boots up fine, using strike plug, only 1 plug, start to record in less than 3 measures, pro tools stops and reports that I need to increase the buffer size. I have gone through all the buffer sizes and it happens every time. I know there must be something missing here, have searched user conference but really need help. What can I do to record with plugs?
Thanks again 002r, G4, dual 1GHz 1.5 GB SDRAM, OS 10.4 pro tools 7.1 |
