printing mix on 5.1
I have been reading and trying to understand printing a mix instead of bounce to disk. How is this done on 5.1? I am using 28 tracks and like to print a stereo mix. Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks again Mix plus, 2 888/24s, pro tools 5.1, g4, OS 9 |

Re: printing mix on 5.1
Assuming you have more voices.
Create a buss to record through. REC Buss Create an audio track that you will record to. REC TRK Set the output of your master to REC Buss. Set the input of the REC TRK to the REC Buss. Put it into record and go. Either monitor the REc TRK or mute it and continue to monitor through your master output. Either is okay but obviously not both. |

Re: printing mix on 5.1
Thanks Jim, I think I understand. I tried it but I need to know how do you creat a Buss to record through? Is this the same as an audio track?
Thanks again Pat |

Re: printing mix on 5.1
Create another buss in your I/O setup. A stereo buss. Call it something like REC BUSS.
Then set your master to output to this buss. Also set the input to your audio track that is recording your mix to this buss. |
