mix core, 2 farms, can't hook up 2 a/d converters

I have had a mix core system for 5+ years no problems. Only used 1 882/20 interface. Bought another one and hooked it up to the farm card. PT does not see it. Have tried hooking up the new one directly to the mix farm card, no problems. System is mix farm, 2 extra farms. G4 5 slot.
New to DUC, any help much appreciated

You could hook up both interfaces to your Core card if you had a "Y" cable. I think I have a "Y" cable that I can sell you. Email me through my profile.

You can do one of two things, Trash all your digi/protools prefs. and select your interfaces when opening pro tools..

Or you can select Playback Engine in pro tools, you should be able to select it from there..

Happy, Happy, Happy! Changed the mix engine and it shows up in the inputs and outputs!

Keep in mind that connecting two interfaces to two separate cards will eat up more dsp than using the 'Y' cable as Jonathan suggested.

Yes, and there were issues with running the interfaces off two cards instead of one, which is why I got a Y for my rig.
