Mbox 2 USB Vs Mbox 2 Pro firewire
Hi,
I would like to know if there is a significant difference in perfomance between Mbox 2 and Mbox 2 Pro due to the fact that one has and usb 2.0 connection and the other one, a firewire connection. Thanks |

Re: Mbox 2 USB Vs Mbox 2 Pro firewire
You'll have better tracking performance because Dig firewire interfaces have low latency monitoring. If your talking about more oomph for playback, plugs etc, then forget it. You'd be better of putting the cash in to a new machine as that will ultimately give you more horsepower. I have an 002R and i always mixdown on my Mbox, i notice no difference.
Cheers
