Clicking and Popping in pro tools

I'm running:

Mac G5 dual 2.0
2 gig ram
digi 192
HD 3 accell
OWC Firewire 800

It seems like I am not running anymore tracks than I usually do but now during playing back i get a clicking and popping sound when I roll playback. These even comes out on mixes when I bounce to disk. I haven't changed anything and I have even went back to older sessions that used to play fine and have opened them and it even happens there as well. Anyone experience this?

Are you recording with ADC enabled? This is a known issue. It puts audio spikes at the end of regions after recording. Speaking of which, any news on this Digi? With 6.9 Im even getting the end of region clicks WITHOUT ADC enabled? arrgh.

sounds like a clock issue.

called Digi and found once I removed my HTDM plugs it was gone. So the issue lies there for some reason.

I can confirm this also, only since updating to 6.9. HTDM may as well be broken or unusable. I've had Waves HTDM plugs play back distorted at random times, until I hard bypass them & re-instate them. I've had the random pops & clicks throughout the mix during playback on new & older sessions. It's really not a safe option to rely on HTDM for any serious work.

What is Digidesign doing to fix this?
