Default Roland TD-15 mapping with Pro Tools instruments

Dear all,

one thing i did not found until today was a correct mapping of the TD-15 pads to different PT drum instruments (i.e. boom, Strike) or the Structure sampler - it seems the base drum and some other parts are not correctly mapped while other things does.

I use the standard (locked) MIDI configuration on the TD-15 module.

Did not found any MIDI mapping "software" or similiar for TD-15 and PT as for some other electronic instruments.

Before i fiddle with the MIDI to Pad assignements by hand: are there any best practices or similiar?

many thanks in advance for any hint.

best regards,

Niels.

Default Re: Roland TD-15 mapping with Pro Tools instruments

I use a TD-10 kit and had to change the midi note assignment for a couple of sounds with SD2 and ezdrummer(like cowbell and side stick). Never used Strike, but Addictive drums has a preset for Roland that worked great. Not much to say about BOOM other than its not something I use much(and when I do, I drop the dots on the BOOM grid to get a pattern, then record it to an audio track). I would read thru the Strike manual to see if it has any note preset(like Addictive Drums has) and then maybe hit the Roland forum as somebody must have hit this issue before
