Firewire 800-400 cables, 7.4 and Nehelem
Hi group, I'm wondering if I get a new macpro with firewire 800 if a simple 800-400 cable will work ok with my 003R and the 7.4 software?
Anyone tried, or using this configuration? I hate to say it, but for whatever reason I expect some sort of compatibility problem.

It works fine. Sometimes if there's an 800 capable device in the chain, there can be problems. There are some threads around about it.
