Default PT10.1.1 EQ3 filter slope mapping broken

Hi all,

it seems that in PT10.1.1 Avid has been updating their EQ III, EQ 3 to EQ3 (no space) versions for AAX 1 and 7 band types. In the process apparently the mapping of the HPF and LPF slope on the D-Control got broken.
In the native versions of EQ3 1 and 7 band the slope maps as a continuous Q controller instead of a 6dB step slope. The result is that you can't control the slope anymore. In the dsp versions it works ok.
In PT10.0.1 this still worked.
I am on OS10.6.7 and have tried to trash preferences etc. but I'm pretty sure it got broken because of the conversion to AAX compatibility.

Anyone else seeing this?

The positive news of mapping in PT10 : learn and general plug-in mapping seems to behave again (as opposed to earlier versions).

Greetings,

Thierry

I'm seeing this as well in both AAX and Native.

I should have added that I'm on a TDM HD3 system. I guess if you see it on AAX dsp, that you are on a HDX system.

Greetings,

Thierry

Still broken in 10.1.2

Please Avid, it's no good going 2 steps forward, one step backward...
This is such an obvious workflow bug, that I'm surprised nobody noticed it during (beta)testing...

Greetings,

Thierry

avid really need to fix this asap. it might look like a minor issue, but it's not and i don't get how you don't check that in beta testing. especially since it's one of avids stock eq's....
very disappointing.

I wonder if this (conversion to AAX) could explain why I'm also getting a lot of graphical glitches when using the digi EQ. Have any of you guys experienced this as well?
