Constrain Clip placement to end, a bug?

The Constrain clip start to start of selection or cursor location works beautifully. Control-click the new clip and it snaps to the start of the selected clip. Great for lining up two clips to start in sync.

But the Constrain clip end to end of selection or cursor location doesn't work properly. Command-Control-click should snap the ending of the new clip to the ending of the selected clip so they end in sync. Right?

Is this a bug? Or am I misunderstanding the function?

"Snap Clip end to stationary playhead or Edit selection end" : looks like, the shortcut does not work as described.
Makes it necessary to Tab once the "alignment" clip is selected.
