Extended Disk Cache?
Does "Extended Disk Cache" increase the amount of Ram available for other things like VI's?
I've just finished up a project where I was using lots of LASS, Cinesample, East West etc etc. The Ram limitation imposed by 32bit Protools was just to much of a headache. I have CPTK and was wondering if I upgraded to 10 would I see a difference or should I just suck it up and move to logic? Thanks. |

Re: Extended Disk Cache?
Quote:
Extended Disk Cache loads the session into RAM, but does not account for sample loading from plugins. That will require Pro Tools to be 64 bit. (Pro Tools 11)
