How to install AIR instruments after 10.3 installation?
I installed PT10, and then upgraded to PT10.3. Somehow, my instruments never got installed. How can I install the AIR instruments? Thanks!
I'm talking about Mini Grand, Boom, etc. |

there is a separate installer--do you see it in your down loads?

Re: How to install AIR instruments after 10.3 installation?
I do not even know how to access my downloads. I was given a NFR version of PT10 straight to my iLok and do not have an account. Every time in the past though, I have installed Mini Grand, boom, etc using my PT10 installer. This time I must have accidentally unchecked it. I would ideally not like to reinstall PT10 from scratch.

There is no box to uncheck. As Darryl said, there is a seperate installer for the AIR VI's. There is a link to the download page on the Technical Anouncements page.

Every time I've installed PT10 in the past though, Boom, and Mini Grand have always installed along with it.

Re: How to install AIR instruments after 10.3 installation?
Yes, that is true but if you read the full install instructions you will find that that has actually changed for this version of Pro Tools. Believe us or not, it's up to you. Either way you'll get the same result, one just quicker.

Re: How to install AIR instruments after 10.3 installation?
I still have been unable to access my download page. It only shows Pro Tools 8 files, even though I have gone through two upgrades since then. Really need these VIs for a project thats coming up.

Re: How to install AIR instruments after 10.3 installation?
Nevermind, I was able to find it. However, I cannot download it because it says I need a java plugin. I try to download the plugin, but it says Chrome doesn't work with Java because it is not 64bit.
http://www.java.com/en/download/mac_download.jsp Anyone have a work around to get Avid downloads to work on OSX? I always remember their download manager being optional in the past. |
