Can 32 sample buffers be used with any interface?

Here I have Digi002rack, RME UFX and Mbox2 micro.

1) Do you still get the safety net of 'Low latency monitoring mode'

2) Do the drivers allow monitoring of iTunes etc whilst a session is running?

3) Can you set a 32 sample buffer under core audio, running Logic for example ?

buffer @44,1k/48k : 64 ->1024 samples
buffer @88,2k/96k : N/A

With PT9/UFX FW :
buffer @44,1k/48k : 64 ->1024 samples
buffer @88,2k/96k : 64 ->2048 samples (???)

With PT9/UFX USB :
buffer @44,1k/48k : 64 ->1024 samples
buffer @88,2k/96k : 64 ->1024 samples (???)

strange, my ULN-2 can only go down to 64 and I thought MH devices all use the same driver???

64 samples @ 44.1 kHz on the FireWire M-Audio Lightbridge, (w/ Aurora 16 on ADAT ports) on a 8 Core Mac Pro.

Everything runs very smoothly...

..& bump...sorry to flog a dead horse here, but 32sample buffers are pretty important to getting a 'TDM like' experience with software monitoring...

..no one else on a Mac here managed it ?

will test my symphony 32 pci-e and rosetta 800 when I get it in a bout a week.
