Digi core audio manager launching at start up

macbook pro core duo 2.16 GHz, 15"

Have been using Tiger 10.4.11, PT 7.1 and first generation mbox.
Mac store thought they were doing me a favor during optical drive repair and upgraded me to Leopard 10.5.6. PT 7.1, first generation mbox and OS 10.5.6 is working for me for several days now sans any issues. However, for the first time since I've been using PT, the digi core audio manager is now opening at start up. Trying to figure out why this has suddenly started happening and how to stop it. thanks..
