Which version of Pro Tools?

Is the plugin compatible with your Pro Tools? Compare with the Digi compatibility list!

Pro tools 8, XP SP3, AMD athlon dual processor 500GB 3.10Ghz.

The plug in is an option in inserts when in a session just once I've selected it it opens up then the fatal error occurs.

That doesn't say anything about compatibility!

check http://www.digidesign.com/index.cfm?...n=news_details

if your version of amplitube is compatible.

The fact that Digi does not have this in their compatibility list, and IK does not speak of specific cs releases or 8.0.1... causes pause for thought.

Actually, Amplitube 2 Duo is apparently a replacement for Amplitube LE, as mentioned on the Ignition Pack Page, with a link to the IKMultimedia Press release.

One would hope that it would be compatible, but... you know how that goes.
