Protools first won’t load after downloading plugins

I installed Protools first with the link from my purchase of Focusrite 8i6 3rd generation and everything worked. I then downloaded the free Focusrite plugins and once again it launched. I then followed the link for the ProTools focusrite creative pack download, downloaded all the plug-ins listed on the page, some opened and some didn’t, and the ones that unpacked I installed. Now when I launch pro tools it hangs up when it is scanning plug-ins. I have to do you use force quit to get out of the program as it is not responding. I am using a MacBook Pro with iOS 11.4 with anM1 processor. Any help would be appreciated, at this point I have no recording capabilities. Thanks, Marty
