Crizdee, do you mean i should change the RAM?

Hard Drives go bad far more often than RAM does, but RAM is worth testing, for sure. And of course, test your HD thoroughly.

When you see spikes in your audio, do you also hear spikes? If not, they are probably just waveform-view anomalies. Recalculate Waveform Overviews from your Regions menu will fix those.

Spikes are clearly audible, sometimes you can barely see them so yo must zoom in at maximum to locate them.

Regarding HDs...i run DiskWarrior and Disk utility quite often, repair permissions and the like.
Is there other way i could perform a good test on them?
