Recording drums sounds using MIDI keyboard.
Hello,
I use Protools 7 and would like to record drums on my songs. I have the BDF plug in which came with the Protools and MBOX bundle. I think it is possible to trigger individual drum samples from BDF using a MIDI keyboard but I am not sure how to go about setting this up (1) in terms of the track inputs and outputs in Protools and (2) how to physically connect the MIDI keyboard to the MBOX or computer. I really don't know what to look for in the Protools manual so any advice would be greatly appreciated! |
