003-Mackie Control surface compatibility
So, I'm about to spend $4k on an LE system for portability. (sound for film). My stationary rig is HD, and I don't use LE. So, I have a Mackie control surface, and my question is this: If I bought the 003 all in one unit (control surface with faders, i/o's etc), is it possible to somehow daisy chain my Mackie to the 003 so that I would have 16 usable faders, leaving the Mackie as a slave...all I would need are the faders!?
Thanks

Re: 003-Mackie Control surface compatibility
I have seen this setup. An 003 and an original Mackie HUI sitting on the desk right next to each other to have more faders. It seems to work pretty smooth.
