Powerbook as remote
Hi,
As a way round the fan noise / unextendable digital (ADC) monitor cable problem, I wondered if it would be feasible to use a powerbook on a long ethernet or firewire cable as a kind of remote for the g4. Any thoughts on this? Thanks, Bill |

Re: Powerbook as remote
Yes, it is possible. We've tried it with the Timbuktu software and an iBook. Timbuktu, however, isn't free but it has a 15 or 30 day demo period.
