Default Powerbook as remote

Hi,

As a way round the fan noise / unextendable digital (ADC) monitor cable problem, I wondered if it would be feasible to use a powerbook on a long ethernet or firewire cable as a kind of remote for the g4.

Any thoughts on this?

Thanks,

Bill

Yes, it is possible. We've tried it with the Timbuktu software and an iBook. Timbuktu, however, isn't free but it has a 15 or 30 day demo period.
