Default Good Deal on DVD Burner

Bought a "Verbatim" DVD+RW burner from Best Buy this week for $139. Since I figured Verbatim doesn't make DVD burners I'd give it a shot. It is a NEC ND1100A in the box(also burns cd's). Comes with a Nero software package, WinDVD4, a blank DVD+RW, IDE cable and some other junk. A very good deal for $139. Box states on back that DVD burner naufactured in Japan or China, this one was made in Malaysia, go figure. Anyway, I'm goning to put this in an Oxford 911 firewire case for my PT rig to use as a backup method. YMMV

Sugarnutz/James,
I saw that on sale there, and need one myself. I still may get one. Was that a rebate thing?
thanks, Roy

No, it was everyday price, no rebate. Got mine on Winchester, they had 3 left I think.
