Nashville is an HD town.

Not that there isn't plenty of LE here too, but I'd imagine the ratio of HD to LE is quite a bit higher here than, say, Denver or Milwaukee.

I have to say that I really like the look of the new Control Panel, very professional and that's quite hard to come by these days as so many companies who included an I/O window like this make it either complex to navigate to where you want to be or it just looks plain ugly!

When you look at the build quality of the new Mboxes, the aggressive UK pricing (quite a big saving on RRP), and this new control panel software (not to mention the increased sample rates, DSP and so on), that things really seem to be looking up on the entry-level Pro Tools front. Far better than the disappointing Mbox 2 range, as this is what it really should have been all along.

I had to look twice at this to make sure I wasn't seeing things...

Yesterday, the Mbox Pro at DV247 was £550.00 on pre-order, yet today it's £645.99 for some unknown reason, while the Mbox has also gone up to £499.00 from yesterdays £425.00!!! The Mbox Mini didn't escape either as it's also gone up from £245.00 to £286.99

I keep asking my dealer and though they have them on order they can't tell me when they will arrive.

Tom, the new Mboxes are in stores now, and with online dealers. The Pro is supposed to be out Oct. 18th. Not sure about the Mini.

Mbox Mini is Oct. 5th as far as I know, Tom.

The 004's are schedule to be released the third week of 0ctober...but shippin in late november.
