Default pcm 91 and ad 8000 clock for better \"results\"?

the pcm 91 allowes you to use an external clock to do the ad/da job.
i wonder if it is possible to somehow synchronize it to a apogee ad 8000 just to see if this brings any difference to the overall quality of those reverbs believed to be hi end ones. in order to do it i need to know how.

any suggestions?
