So with the latest PT update perpetual users with a update plan don’t get the free IK plugs. Ok alright.

If that statement is correct, then NO.

The other big news from Avid regarding the Pro Tools 2021.3 release is that in partnership with IK Multimedia, Avid is giving all Pro Tools and Pro Tools Ultimate annual subscribers two plugins at no additional cost.

Maybe another "incentive" from AVID to push all Pro Tools customers to the subscription model.

Where do you see this stuff about free plugins? The link to the release notes in the Avid email comes up with a blank page.

Yeah it’s a push to flush out the perp users.
My update plan expires in Aug 2021. If no other attractive updates happen between now and August I’m not renewing. I’ll take my $199 and get more plugs or Vi’s or put it towards upgrading to Komplete 13 Ultimate from Standard for the $399 upgrade sale. It is what it is.

It was on the Pro Tools Expert mail announcement of 2021.3. Its Amplitude and T-Racks.

Same here and people should maybe not take PTE as a source of how the Avid plans are laid out ss PTE has absomutely NOTHING to do with Avids plans and whatever. None and this is not meant for you Jack. More as a general statement

Maybe I got bad info. I can’t find anything on the Avid site about free Amplitude or T-Racks.

I read it on PT Expert Blog but It doesnt say so in the email received from Avid about the update .... anyway ... I just renewed my perpetual annual plan and I will never subscribe ... if the news is true it's a shame ..
