HELP: Punch-in Recording where markers placed.
I want to do a punch-in on a recorded track, but I want to start playing the track (pre rolled) where I have the markers in place. Is there a way to just select memory locations and start recording (ex. Verse 1) simultaneously, move to the next marker and record?

Re: HELP: Punch-in Recording where markers placed.
Not to my knowledge but, you can hold the shift key down in the marker list to select the area between two markers. Then look at the length in the transport and copy that to the Pre-roll length.

Re: HELP: Punch-in Recording where markers placed.
If I understand correctly, just enable Pre-roll, click the marker where you want recording to start and hit record(I use F12). Assuming a 2-bar pre-roll, you'll hear 2 bars and then the track will start recording, right on the marker. Its not a problem punching out as you can record a bit too long, and use the Trimmer tool to drag back

Re: HELP: Punch-in Recording where markers placed.
You can also choose to have memory locations remember a specific pre-roll amount.

May I ask how to? Is that something on Memory Location window?

Re: HELP: Punch-in Recording where markers placed.
Look in the Marker Dialogue for settings. You can also use Markers as "Selection" rather than "Location" if you only want to record for a specific length of time. See the Reference Manual.
