Default Waves year end blowout

Got an email the other day showing Waves year end blowout. Some amazing prices - Mercury regularly $6300 now $2499, L2 normally $250 now $79, etc. Prices drops all over percentage-wise. One has to ask is this one of their regular year-end deals or signs of cleaning house for possible upcoming AAX/HDX support? If we knew WUP would cover updates to AAX/HDX then buying into Waves now might be called a no-brainer.

Some dealers have Mercury as low as $1754.

If we knew (stock xyz will skyrocket next month) it would be a no-brainer to buy it. That's why they advertise. If the deal looks good *NOW* then grab it and don't think about the future. If you're buying future you're gambling.

Question: I have Waves L3-16, actually the whole bundle that includes all L3 products. I see that L2 is $79, is that something that I should add to my setup for "mastering" or is it redundant considering I have the L3 bundle?

They stated they were doing AAX Native already. Now someone from waves posts on facebook but we are not supposed to believe that instead believe some posters on duc? think not.

You've hit the nail on the head I've been trying to make the point about: there's conflicting info out there and who do you believe (if anyone)? I think our 'friend' here on the DUC might be the least believable - but he won't see this as he has me on ignore.
