need help upgrading
Hey all I'm new to the forum here,
I have bought a new Macbook pro 13 inch i5. My Mbox 2 does not get recognized as connected hardware. Im running Pro Tools 7.4.2. I bought my system new about 2 years ago. Am I eligible for a free upgrade. So frustrating... Can anyone please help me? Thanks for your time. I am out of the loop because I have not used it in a while but I need it working for an upcoming project. Thanks Brian

Re: need help upgrading
I don't think 7.4 is compatible with Snow Leopard, which is what's on that Mac.
You would not be eligible for any free upgrade, but you would be eligible for the PT9 crossgrade using your Mbox. You can skip 8 and go directly to 9. Just be sure to uninstall 7.4. |

Re: need help upgrading
Thanks, much appreciated.
Been out of the loop so I know it sounds stupid but I just needed a quick answer rather than go thru such a huge website!
