need help upgrading

Hey all I'm new to the forum here,

I have bought a new Macbook pro 13 inch i5. My Mbox 2 does not get recognized as connected hardware. Im running Pro Tools 7.4.2. I bought my system new about 2 years ago. Am I eligible for a free upgrade. So frustrating...

Can anyone please help me?

I don't think 7.4 is compatible with Snow Leopard, which is what's on that Mac.

You would not be eligible for any free upgrade, but you would be eligible for the PT9 crossgrade using your Mbox.

You can skip 8 and go directly to 9.

Just be sure to uninstall 7.4.
