Heat on HD Native!!! Now that is exciting news!
I just went and grabbed a Heat license from eBay.
Oh wait, I just realized I haven't upgraded to PT HD 12 yet.....guess I gotta call Sweetwater today.....UGH!!

Let's be clear, HEAT still requires an HD license as well as a HEAT auth.

We don't want people rushing to eBay when they have vanilla PT.

With all the misinformation being passed around on the DUC lately I totally get it Drew!
Thanks for pointing that out. I would hate to have someone drop coin on Heat because of something I posted, only to find they can't use it because they are on non HD PT.

What if you're just using the HD software with a different interface, and not using HD Native?
Originally when I saw that I assumed if you just have HD software then you can use HEAT. But then I got confused because someone mentioned HD Native, which is an entirely different product than HD on a native machine.

HEAT now simply requires that an HD and HEAT asset be on the iLok, that's it.
