Hi,

First of all thank you for making such an impressive tool. It really is one of the 'holy grails' of sound manipulation. As a dialog editor it's just great to be able to clean up that one line of off-mic dialog that needs to be brought to the front of the mix for more for focus.
I'm just putting my vote in for a version that authorizes using iLok. As a user I switch between my ProTools rig in the edit room and another system on the mix-stage and it would be very helpful for me to take my 'tools' along to both easily.

Unveil allows for authorizing on two systems if I'm not mistaken.
De- and Re- Authorizing is instant if you have internet connection.

That's correct, you can move your licenses around if there's internet access. But we do see how an iLok or iLok-like solution would be more convenient and are looking into that.

We're happy to announce UNVEIL version 1.6 heh

V 1.6 will be available February 15th, 2013. We will be showing the new version at the NAMM show in Anaheim, January 24th-27th, 2013, Hall A Booth #6224 .


What’s new in UNVEIL v1.6:

• Now also supports 64bit operation as VST on Windows systems.
• For the AAX Plug-In, AudioSuite Preview functionality is now enabled for ProTools version 10.3.3 and above.
• The RTAS plug-in now supports EuCon in ProTools.
• Improved compatibility with Apple Final Cut Pro X.
• Mac: Authorization now valid system-wide.
• Mac: Authorizer app now launches on install.
• Increased time-out and removed nag screens for the free trial version.

The free UNVEIL v1.6 update will be available from Zynaptiq February 15th, 2013.

Heads-up: v1.6 is now out

Users that have opted-in to receive email have been emailed the DL URL for the v1.6 installer. Users who didn't opt-in can email us to receive the DL URL.

The free trial has also been updated to have a longer time-out (20 minutes, up from 10), no more nag-screens (except for the initial notification that it is a demo version), and fade-outs are now every 4 minutes (up from 2-3).

Pleas note: AudioSuite preview REQUIRES PT 10.3.3 or newer, older versions will give a DAE error when trying to use preview!
