Default why is pts saving files on my system drive ?

Why is protools saving some audio and fade files on my system drive ? How do I make it stop?

You probably created your session on the system drive or made a miss-step in using a template. When you create a new session, always choose your audio drive. For now, you can try Save Session Copy in... and put this copy on your audio drive. Make sure you click on the ALL box so it copies audio as well. Later on, you can delete the version on the system drive.

Check your disc allocation settings for the session...
