converting an electronic drumpad to midi?
is there a plugin or something that can convert the 1/4" output from a pintech (similar to roland v-drums) drum pad to midi to be able to trigger a plugin synth or plugin drum module in PT? sorry i am dumb sometimes when it comes to seemingly complex midi stuff... but in my head i figure i can plug this pad into an instrument input on my mic pre and patch it to a channel, place some magical plug on it and route that to a plugin instrument somehow some way...

Re: converting an electronic drumpad to midi?
nope.....at least I seriously doubt it
you have to plug that drum pad into an actual drum module w/ midi output...like say the Roland TD-10 then plug the midi out of that drum module into the midi in of your digi 002 or whatever midi interface you're using certainly don't know of any plugin that would allow this on a 1/4 inch line input
